Branding Guide for Seattle Nativity School
Founded in 2013, Seattle Nativity School is still building its brand. I created this branding guide for key employees and volunteers in collaboration with the school’s Director of Development. It was also my capstone project for the Technical Writing certificate.

Annual Endowment Benefactor Report
When I was hired at Seattle Preparatory School, I inherited zero documentation for endowment donor reports, despite its value in sustainable funding. My manager was previously in my role so she shared a lot of information verbally, but future employees may not have the luxury of working with their predecessor.
I created the Annual Endowment Benefactor Report as an internal document for members of the school development team. This Word document identifies key deliverables and the people responsible for creating them. In my time at the school, I added several components to this reporting process and created this institutional memory to retain them.

Guide to Coding Major Gift Prospects
Despite being a well-established and respected school, Seattle Prep did not have a formal prospect research (PR) program when I was hired. I started building a prospect research structure that can be easily adapted and grow with the organization into the future.
While the development team consistently uses Attributes in the CRM to tag certain records, this remains an underutilized feature of the software. I created the first internal PR coding system by re-purposing existing data points from other departments on campus and highlighting data points hidden in other tables of the CRM. I created this coding documentation for internal use by members of the development team, particularly my prospect research successor and volunteers who assist with data entry. This Word document identifies key data points, definitions and their sources with screen shots from the CRM.

Guide to Creating Proposals in the CRM
Non-profits, including Seattle Prep, rely heavily on volunteers. Unfortunately, volunteer training and support materials are often minimal. I created this customized instruction manual for staff and volunteer use. The Word document and screen shot graphics explain the process for opening proposals in the Raiser’s Edge CRM during a major gift or capital campaign.
